The E46 M3 is coming along nicely! I have Rhys Millen Racing doing all of the work for me. So far we have only done a few things to the car, but there is a lot more to be done with it. I only have the car back for about a week until they start working on it again, so I figured I'd have some fun with it, and I went out to WSIR for a track day. That was my first time ever driving the track at speed, and it is a really fun track. I got my lap time down to a 1:38.2, but will definitely be dropping more time with some better tires on the car, and getting the car properly aligned! I have a video down below of some of my laps from yesterday (Shot via GoPro).
Here are the mods thus far:
Michelen Super Sport Tires
Turner Motorsport Gas-Slotted Brake Rotors
Steel Brake Lines
Race Pads (Don't know brand ATM)
Ground Control Shocks and Coilovers
Here are the mods that have yet to be added:
Full Subframe Reinforcement
Sparco Pro 2000 Front Seats
Sparco Bracket and Side Mounts
Remove Rear Seats and Interior Carpeting
Full Suspenion Upgrades (Bushings, etc.)
Adjustable Lower Rear Arm
2 Sets of Enkei NT-03 18x10 25mm Offset Wheels
Wide Rear Mirror
Vorsteiner Carbon Hood
Custom Carbon Roof
Changed Gear Ratios For Drifting
I'll be adding to the list, but that's it for now. Check back later for more updates. I think the subframe reinforcement kit is being put in next week; along with the rest of the suspension, wheels, and tires.
Also! Keep posted on this site next week, as I will be racing in the 24 Hours of Lemons in a Jeep Grand Cherokee at Buttonwillow Raceway. It should be an extremely fun time.
